Short Bio

Renjun Hu received his Bachelor's degree in 2014 and Ph.D. in 2020 from the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Beihang University. From September 2017 to April 2018, he was a joint student in the Data Mining Group at Rutgers University. He then worked as a research intern at the Business Intelligence Lab of Baidu Research from May 2018 to September 2019. During 2020 to 2024, he served as an algorithm engineer at Alibaba Cloud, contributing to AI-driven transformations across various business domains including feed recommendation, user growth, online marketing, and LLM-as-a-Judge. Since January 2025, he has joined the School of Data Science and Engineering, East China Normal University as a junior researcher. His recent research interests include robust machine learning and the understanding, evaluation, and applications of large language models.
